March 8: International Women's Day

A day to fight for equality, participation and women’s empowerment in all areas of society.

2020 is presented as the year for gender equality. That’s why, on 8 March International Women’s Day, everyone is asked to work together to break down barriers against gender equality. The campaign will bring together people of all genders, ages, ethnic backgrounds, races, religions and countries. It’s about pushing actions that create the egalitarian world we deserve.
At MAES, we want women’s rights and gender equality to take centre stage. In other words, we want 2020 to be a watershed year for women and girls around the world.
It is an exceptional opportunity to mobilize global action towards achieving gender equality and the realization of the human rights of all women and girls, we must participate and reflect on the changes that have been made, what remains to be changed and celebrate the determination of many women who have contributed to this struggle in many ways.
Let us fill this International Women’s Day with flowers and honey in honor of all the women of the world.
In conclusion, small actions can have major repercussions.
