Lamb with honey. Christmas recipe with honey.


2 legs of suckling lamb
2 tablets of meat broth
150gr of honey
4 strands of saffron
1 glass of wine vinegar
1 glass of white wine
½ tablespoon of spicy red paprika
½ tablespoon of white pepper
2 bay leaves
2 cans of tomato sauce
1 onion
6 cloves of garlic
Olive oil


Its preparation is slow fire, but the result is exquisite.
Poach the onion and garlic in a pan and when they are gold add the tomato sauce. Add the meat and let it gold for a few minutes. Add the saffron, paprika, laurel, white wine and the 2 stock cubes. Mix it and lower the heat until the sauce is somewhat reduced.
Then put the casserole in the oven, at 180º for 35 minutes. Occasionally you have to put the sauce on the lamb. If it is much reduced, you have to add hot water or broth.
At the same time we add the honey and the wine vinegar in a saucepan. Mix well and heat the sauce until it reduces a little. Add the mixture to the lamb and leave it for 10 minutes in the oven. A delicious Christmas recipe with honey. Enjoy it!
